The Air More Uptempo’s nubuck and mesh upper is covered almost entirely in Chocolate Brown, with accented Pink elements seen throughout. The stitched Nike Swoosh is placed with pink threads on the edge of a double stacked mudguard that wraps around the toe box.
Distinctive “AIR” embellishments on the profile include the same trim element, with pink suede wrapping the chocolate brown nubuck alphabet. Next is a second panel in the same shade of chocolate brown, in perforated nubuck, which serves as the base for most of the top.
Moving forward to the tabs, we notice the mesh, nylon, and nubuck all have the same monochromatic tone of brown as the lace set and elastic pull tabs. The heel features a cutout Swoosh that’s sealed with the same pink suede used to accent the “AIR” overlay, adding a final touch of Nike branding to the top.
The rubber outsole complements this and completes the design. The Air More Uptempo sole unit sits underfoot and is a similar shade of chocolate brown. Obviously, the midsoles of these pairs are filled with stock Air units for cushioning and stability.
On February 14, 2023, Nike and a few other stores will offer the Nike Air More Uptempo Valentine’s Day online and in-store. The retail price, which is in men’s sizes, is $170.
