AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Sneaker Edition Will Feature Three Low Top Variant Colorways
Japanese designers YOON and VERBAL created the modern Japanese jewelry line AMBUSH in 2008. With celebrities like Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi and Big Sean, the fashion retailer has gained immense popularity over the years. Over the past few years, AMBUSH has partnered with several big names including A Bathing Ape, NIGO, Maison Kitsune, Sacai and UNDERCOVER to name a few.
The partnership between Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH and Nike apparently began in 2018, and since then the two companies have reunited on several occasions.
Over the years, they have produced many eye-catching clothes as well as sneaker collections. Popular silhouettes such as Air Max 180, Dunk Highs and more recently Air Adjust Force have been reinterpreted by them.
First look at pairs dropping in the coming months as part of a new capsule collection featuring the Air Force 1 Low by AMBUSH and Beaverton’s Swoosh label.
The main design feature to highlight in these Nike Air Force 1 shoes is the reappearance of the Tailpipe Swooshes, which is similar to the aforementioned duo’s previous Dunk launches. All three colorways feature a high-quality leather construction. The colors offered are Black/White, White/Black and Red/Black/White.
The first White/Black colorway will feature White underlays accented with Black elements, applied throughout the upper. Here, the perforated toes, tongues, sidewalls, and heel counters are crafted from White textured leathers. While the sides are adorned with bold black swooshes, the tongues as well as the heels are highlighted with branded accents.
The second is the black/white variant. This classic color scheme features black underlays topped with white accents throughout. In this shoe, prominent swooshes of White hues are added to the midfoot area. On the lower heel molds of each model, the AMBUSH logo has been debossed. The first two colorways take a more subtle approach.
The third red/white/black color palette is inspired by the traditional “Chicago” palette. Red, white and black panels are alternately placed throughout the shoe. The top and bottom, done in red and white, pay homage to the Bulls respectively. Finally, the striking black Swooshes on the sides envelop the look of these low shoes.
