The Swoosh label is constantly developing new colors and patterns for its durable Nike Dunk High model. Since 1985, the classic style of Peter Moore has benefited from numerous updates and iterations. Over the years, the brand has revisited sneakers with denim, suede, and more.
Dunk High’s “Chenille Swoosh” in a new gorge green colorway is bound to impress all sneakerheads. The release date has yet to be announced by the sportswear label, but you can stay tuned to Nike’s webpage for further updates. They can be purchased through Nike’s online stores and other select sellers at $125 a pair.
The Nike Dunk High Chenille Swoosh edition will be dressed in Gorge Green overlays
Not too long ago, the shoe company teased two more shoes with chenille swooshes. The black and white version of the Nike Dunk Low and the Halloween-inspired Nike Dunk High in an orange and black color scheme were unveiled by Nike earlier in July. Now, they have decided to dress the Nike Dunk High in throat green and black tones.
The Nike Dunk is presented on the label’s website as:
“Originally created for hardwood, the Dunk then hit the streets and, as they say, the rest is history. More than 35 years after its debut, the silhouette still offers a bold, provocative style and remains a coveted look for crews across sport and culture.
The next iteration of the Dunk High is fashioned entirely with premium leather. While Black is used for the underlays, Throat Green elements cover the Black leather throughout the upper. There are small touches of white throughout which help the colors pop.
The perforated tips are crafted from black leather, contoured with its green counterpart. The green eyelets are placed right next to the black leather tabs, which feature the green lace loops at the top.
Towards the collar, one can easily spot the Nike swoosh branding tag which is made of white textile. The lateral side features the fluffy and velvety chenille swoosh which is pure white in color. The imposing swoosh is positioned on a black and green background.
The collar of this high-top pair is made of black leather, while the heel counter features both black and green. A small pull tab is also added to the heel area.
As for the interiors, the insole has been created with black textiles while the insole has been made with white insoles bearing Nike swoosh branding. White midsoles and brown rubber outsoles complete the look.
The next Nike Dunk High “Chenille Swoosh” Gorge green colorway is expected to drop in the coming weeks. The shoes are expected to cost $125 a pair. If you’re interested, you can buy them at Nike’s e-commerce stores as well as other partner outlets.
