When is the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Green Python release date? Here’s what we know

Official images of the new Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Green Python” have been revealed, and if you’re anything like us, you’re probably wondering if Nike announced a release date for them yet.

The latest design recalls the snakeskin-like material used for the “Satin Snake” 1 launched in 2020; however, Jordan opted for a mid-top silhouette this time around in the brand’s continued push towards Mids in 2022.

For example, Jordan looks set to relaunch the XQ Mid and make its African-themed debut alongside the “Green Python” colorway later this year.

While there are plenty of Jordan 1s to look forward to in the coming months, we’re only focusing on the special-edition “Green Python” Mids in this article.

So, without further ado, let’s dive into…

Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Design Python Green

As alluded to above, these special edition Jordan 1s have ditched the usual leather construction seen on some of the best Jordan 1 colorways.

Instead, the sneakers take on incredibly unique snakeskin-like overlays with chiseled “scales,” hence the name “Green Python.”

The ‘scales’ are dressed in a vibrant green tone and given a gloss finish to contrast the matte white leather base layers.

White is also used to dress the laces, inner liners and midsoles, which then house the usual Nike Air units for added support.

Jordan branding can then be found on the tongues and insoles in bright green to match the overlays and outsoles.

You’ll also find the usual Jordan Wings badges on the side collars in white. The logos are also separate patches sewn onto the sneakers, giving a three-dimensional texture.

The Nike logo then appears in the center of the outsoles to complete these special Mid editions in typical Jordan 1 fashion.
