In 2022, the fighting game community was treated to a variety of fun clothing and shoe collections. While he’s no stranger to working with Reebok, this year’s releases have been improved. For starters, Nike turned to the historic EVO Moment #37 with a “Street Fighter III” Air Force 1 Low that subtly hit the outlets. Following this, tekken the graphics were featured in an extensive Yohji Yamamoto x Supreme collection. Now Reebok has connected with street fighter on Instapump Fury and Shaq Attaq.
After a first look at the collaborative colorway Shaq Attaq, a “Zangief” Instapump Fury has been revealed. The themed colors of “Rich Magma/Sulfur Dust-Core Black” dress the sneaker from head to toe as the design opts to keep it subtle rather than screaming its video game influence. Its upper is made from a mix of materials including mesh, leather and suede. Additional calls to street fighter can be spotted on the pump buttons and the insole which shows off Zangief and the classic “FIGHT!” text to complete the look.
