President’s Lecture Series Host Roundtable: November 16

Buzzwords like “entrepreneurship” and “innovation” are used these days as ways to get ahead in the business world. These ideas are adopted at UHD. In fact, effective knowledge creation and strategic partnerships are two of the seven goals of UHD’s 2022-2027 Strategic Plan: A New Paradigm, and the topic of the next Roundtable in the President’s Lecture Series.

This free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 in the Milam and Travis rooms of the Welcome Center. “Breaking the ceiling through innovation and entrepreneurship: a round table” will feature three experts who will highlight their own experiences, share lessons learned along the way, and teach the essential basics of building a business. They will also discuss resources that could alleviate common barriers that can block or prevent minority and women-owned businesses from starting or growing.

Lunch will be served at this engaging event open to all students, faculty and staff. Please register here.
