August 2022 is shaping up to be a pretty busy month for sneakerheads as Nike, Adidas, PUMA, ASICS and New Balance flood the market with fresh and intriguing shoe designs.
Although several new releases are planned for this month of the year, Nike has bigger plans for its fans. During the third week of August, the Oregon-based brand will release a number of their highly anticipated shoe models including the Air Jordan 12 Stealth, Air Jordan 13 French Blue and Air Jordan 14 ginger. These long-awaited sneakers will finally appear in week three.
So you don’t have to, Sportskeeda has compiled a list of the best Nike releases that will be available during the third week of August.
Keep an eye out for the seven highly anticipated Nike releases for the week of August 3, 2022
1) Air Jordan 14 Ginger
The “Ginger” Air Jordan 14 has been long awaited by the sneaker community. On August 17, these shoes will finally go on sale. With a fixed price tag of $200 for each pair, they will be offered through the SNKRS app as well as a select group of outlets.
The sneaker, which is inspired by the Air Jordan 14 Low “Ginger”, features a tan nubuck upper and white toe cap. The Jumpman badge, directly influenced by Ferrari, is visible near the ankle. The tongue and laces are black, including some red accents on the tongue and heel. The sneakers, which have white teeth and a midsole, are completed with the heel platform and outsole.
2) Boi-1da x Nike KD 15
The pairing of Nike and Kevin Durant on the new KD15 silhouette already sent shockwaves through the footwear industry earlier this year. To expand the catalog of their latest sneaker design, the shoe brand has teamed up with Canadian record producer Boi-1da. This co-designed multicolored variant will go live on the SNKRS app and other outlets on August 17. These eye-catching shoes will retail for $160 a pair.
The upper of the Boi-1da x Nike KD 15 has a dense web, thanks to a swirl of double-layered mesh in black and green. The Nike Swoosh is split in green and pink on the matte-finished black support wings, which also feature a similar swirl pattern embossed inside the cage.
The upper part of the tongue is crafted in perforated black leather with Boi-1da’s signature embroidered in orange on the right tongue and the KD logo stitched in green on the left tongue. The mesh part of the tongue is surrounded by black and green laces.
3) FroSkate x Nike SB Dunk High Pro
Nike collaborated with FroSkate for their unique take on the SB Dunk High silhouette. The duo’s new sneaker edition is titled “All Love, No Hate”, based on the skateboarding label’s ethos. The all-new SB Dunk High will be released on August 17 at 7:30 p.m. These pairs will be traded through the SNKRS app for $130.
These high tops feature a clean white leather underlay contrasting with the multi-colored panels placed on them. Obviously, the phrases “All Love, No Hate” are engraved on these side panels as well.
Additionally, the toe box has heart-shaped perforations and the handmade tongue tags showcase the FroSkate name, logo and message. The striking appearance is further enhanced by mismatched cushioned insoles, lacing, graphic insoles and a frosted translucent outsole.
4) AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force
Yoon and Verbal’s contemporary fashion label Ambush recently teamed up with the Beaverton shoe company for a new take on the shoe brand’s Air Adjust Force silhouette. The partners came together for a two-piece collection. The Ambush x Nike Air Adjust Force sneaker edition is scheduled to arrive on August 19, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. They will be offered by the SNKRS app and other partner sellers for $210.
Two contrasting color schemes, black and white, are used to create the latest collection of two shoes.
5) Nike Air Max 97 Medium Brown
Celebrating 25 successful years of its Air Max 97 shoe design, Nike is gearing up for the release of yet another freshly designed “Medium Brown” colorway of the silhouette. The Nike Air Max 97 “Medium Brown” colorway drops August 19 at 7:30 p.m.
With a dedicated price of $185, these pairs will be available on the SNKRS app, alongside other associated sellers.
This “Medium Brown” iteration features a pink chiffon and foam color scheme with a woven mesh, leather and suede construction. The uppers on these pairs feature rich brown accents starting at the mudguards that change to softer tones as we progress to the tongues. An optimal color palette for the approaching winter season.
Additionally, “Pink Foam” hues are interspersed throughout the upper. White midsoles complete the shoes.
6) Air Jordan 13 French Blue
After releasing the Air Jordan 13 “Brave Blue” colorway earlier this year, Nike’s design team created another “French Blue” variant, which has been making headlines for the past few months. This highly anticipated edition of the Air Jordan 13 “French Blue” arrives August 20, 2022. Priced at $200 a pair, these shoes will ship through Nike’s e-commerce stores, as well as other retailers.
The shoe offers a Gray crushed leather toe, with rear suede overlays created from French Blue and a perforated White hammered leather overlay. The shoe’s white tongue flap features the red Jumpman, while the midsole, white pods, and gray outsole are all made up of French blue suede elements.
7) Stealth Air Jordan 12
This year, The Jordan Brand is working intensively on its twelfth silhouette. In fact, the brand unveiled a number of new colorways for the Air Jordan 12 shoe design, including “Black Taxi” and “Hyper Royal.”
However, the most anticipated colorway is the “Stealth” version, which has been in the news for months and will finally release in the third week of August.
You can purchase the Air Jordan 12 “Stealth” starting August 20 at SNKRS online stores as well as a few select retail stores. Each pair will cost you $200.
The upper of the shoe is crafted in distressed gray leather with light gray accents on the laces, tongue seams, and medial and lateral reinforcements. A Light Gray midsole with full Zoom is utilized, and a Light Gray outsole wraps the sneaker. The Jumpman tab is highlighted in an identical shade.
Stay tuned to the brand’s website for timely updates on upcoming releases. All of these shoes will be purchasable from the SNKRS app and other authorized retailers.
